SOCKS

As told by Bert. (With photos below)

From day one he was on a very steep learning curve. After a walk or before bed our dogs have tails, lift tail and wipe bum. It took him 3 days to get used to this.
  • First day 1pm a slice of brown bread each (what's this don't like that) and he still dose not like it.
  • 4.30pm dinner (can I get push Sammy off her dinner and get more?) No you cannot.
  • 10pm When we have coffee and a biscuits they get a Bonio, (What's this? no I will leave it) Not for long though just a day or two now he looks for his Bonio.
  • 10.30pm A flat treat and Toothies (What's this? I will leave it.) Not now he looks for them. (What's he doing to Sammy must have a sniff, that smells nice I will try that) He even let me put my hand in his mouth as I brushed away.
He soon sorted out a place that he took as his, the end Toilet dressing room.

4 camp sites, with the packing up and setting up again before we got home.

Day 3 we took them to Beamish, he found out that when the ground is not there for his front feet he is on steps. He had a ride on a bus and back on a tram and lots of strokes by lots of people as he waited outside as first one then the other went inside.

4 days later we went back to see what we had missed and he had a ride on a train then a tram and as it was late by then again on a tram but this time it was packed with double standing down the isle. He took it all in his stride.

1 July, long hot run home. 5 Steps up to front door. Lots of rooms. 3 Steps up to patio. 13 steps up to large garden lots of sniffs and no lead. He tried sniffing a cat, only to get clawed on top of his head, They do have muzzles on up the garden.

He is a super dog, wants to be with you all the time but is happy to stay if told, unlike his predecessor who wanted to be out the caravan or any door before you. He did get out the van on the 2nd site but he knows 'stop' and 'stay' and I got a lead on him easily.

All in all he is a super dog and is making Sammy happy and us.
